I read a wonderful,self-help book called ‘Pulling your Own Strings’ a long time back;in which, the author tells us that instead of ‘loving’ our neighbours by getting nosy about their lives,we can do a much bigger service to them by teaching them to relish aloneness and solitude. There are practical ways of doing so,outlined in numerous self-help kind of books. We can start with ourselves by learning to cherish our ‘alone’ times.
