The third part of AAANZ’s faith statement is: “Reconciliation is the centre of our work.” In a time when our churches, institutions, societies, and nations are beset by conflict and hatred, reconciliation is perhaps more necessary than ever.
Our 2019 conference will explore this theme of reconciliation with speakers from Australia, Indonesia, and New Zealand.
God is reconciling all things! And so over the January 26 long weekend we’ll delve into our part in God’s reconciling plan. We’ll explore reconciliation with God through times of prayer and worship. We will learn skills to reconcile with each other – including enemies. We’ll learn self-care as part of reconciliation. And we’ll spend time focusing on our reconciling role in caring for all of creation.
