What Do You Want?

http://bit.ly/1qv9DaY

The question I ask myself on my 65th birthday:

What do you think – on the other side of innocence?
You’ve gambled and lost. Your love’s not enough.
What do you feel – now that the grief is real?
You’ve tried n’ you’ve failed. You’re tired n’ you’re frail.

What do you want? What do you really want?
Do you really want to go on? Struggle ’till you’re done?
What do you want?

The answer I want to give on my 65th birthday:

Want to live while you’re alive!
Want to give it one more try!
Want to bring the truth to light!
Want to change the wrong to right!
Want to meet friends eye to eye!
Want to share some bread & wine!
Want to see the family smile!
Want to make the moment shine!

The question I ask my friends on my 65th birthday:

What do you want? What do you really want?
Do you really want to go on? Struggle ’till you’re done?
What do you want?

What do you think – on the other side of innocence?
You’ve gambled and lost. Your love’s not enough.
What do you feel – now that the grief is real?
You’ve tried n’ you’ve failed. You’re tired n’ you’re frail.

What do you want?
