great story! (unexpected places)
my favourite moment this week was after a friend’s gig, at 2am, in a noisy bar crowded with drunken kids trying to impress each other. there were half a dozen of us, none of us liked the vibe but there was nowhere else open, and somehow in the lounges in the corner, shouting over the music, i had a couple of honest vulnerable conversations with people i really like but never see, except in bars or at parties.
