I recently came to the conclusion that i was created to be in community and relationships with people not to work full-time in order to have lots of big fancy stuff. So most of my days are filled with being present to my community, starting with my neighbours. I do three days a week paid work in order to pay the bills, though my work is a bit more meaningful than that. I serve and listen to young people experiencing tough, unjust lives and mostly help them come up with strategies about how they can be safe in their own homes. People are my focus whether i am paid or not and i can pretty much say i love my life.
