Cartridge World Update – Samantha Jockel
For those of you who remember a while ago i wrote about an everyday interaction i had with a man at cartridge world when i went to get my ink refilled. We just had a really good conversation about life and what’s possible and this was because i intentionally create space and time in my life to be available to the now moments. Anyways, yesterday i went back for the third time to pick up some paper and again we were caught up in some great conversation. We spoke about refugees coming into australia and he started by saying that he wasn’t keen to allow people in because they could be terrorists. By the end of the conversation i know he had a bit more to think about and i quite openly challenged a number of his beliefs. We were able to just talk about it for half an hour or so and i know that was a really significant conversation and opportunity. Often i feel like in the big scheme of things i/we are losing to the injustices of this world and then times like this remind me that the change i am wanting to see happens one person at a time.
