When Martin Troyer, a Houston pastor, began blogging for his church nearly two years ago, about 30 people read his posts. 
Now his blog, “The Peace Pastor,” reaches an online audience of tens of thousands of people. On one occasion, his blog post received 15,000 hits within six hours of publishing a post…Troyer’s blog focuses on peace and justice issues but moves beyond “saying no to war,” he says. “I could write about 1,000 different things that relate to peace.” Examples of Troyer’s blog headlines include: “Jesus, Israel-Palestine and the Bible,” “Executing the Innocent,” “Road Peace on Rage Road” and “A Primer on Hating Your (Cyber!) Neighbour.” He hopes readers see his blog as not only a political message but also very Christian.
